Audrey Pongracz

I paint along the lines of Surrealism and Pop Art using oils. My inspirations come from 17th and 18th century European Art, using the contrast and glow of that style in my own work.

My intent is to capture the emotions of both sides of life. The light and the dark. While my pieces have specific meaning I try to leave them open to interpretation. So I try to make my paintings visually dramatic and mentally simple. I believe art should be attainable to everyone.
