Ryan Weiss was born in 1985 and grew up in a small Michigan town called Belleville located somewhere in between Detroit and Ann Arbor. Ryan’s mission started when he first learned that crayons were much more useful for drawing Ninja Turtles than for eating. After being inspired as a child by the graffiti colors under the overpasses and on the side of the buildings they passed on trips into the city, Ryan became fascinated with finding the perfect combination of color, texture and meaning.

His inspirations are collected and absorbed from his environment, through the connection of dots and the unexplainable science that makes it all tick.

Ryan graduated with an Illustration degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008 and has been exhibiting work since 2006.

In 2009, he was invited to exhibit a solo show at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank California and was also commissioned a painting representing Detroit in the 2009 Verizon Wireless ‘How Sweet the Sound’ Competition.Ryan Weiss was born in 1985 and grew up in a small Michigan town called Belleville located somewhere in between Detroit and Ann Arbor.
