I was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Pennsylvania to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where I graduated with a degree in illustration. I lived in New York City for four years and gained great creative inspiration. In 2008, I relocated to Michigan after three years in Washington D.C.

My goal in painting is to achieve perfection in the classical sense while giving objects on the peripheral of our daily lives a new significance. The only rule I follow is that objects I paint must be from real life. I am fascinated by the fusion of renaissance application to lowbrow subjects. Art executed to the highest degree is my goal; art that relates to everyone is my passion.
