M.E. Croci

M.E. Croci began to show her works in Detroit, Michigan in 1980. Her roughshod influences of ART BRUT models utilize pen-and-ink and her own personal experiences.
 

ARTIST STATEMENT

In the early years, I attempted to experiment with many processes which I to this day utilize-becoming more formalized as the years have continued…many muses of past artists either read about and studied upon in order to attempt, then to find my own ‘child’…I LOVE processes within the creation of an actual work thinking often of a finalized piece; an image of all I have learned beforehand…which yet beseeches me…to enmeld pen and ink/acrylic/sculptural dramas for my own storytelling narratives.
